Group calls for resignation of Pima Community College Chancellor

TUCSON, Ariz. (KOLD News 13) — A group called People for the CPC is demanding that Pima Community College Chancellor Lee Lambert step down immediately.

This comes after the KOLD Investigates team revealed that the college administration was once again under scrutiny.

KOLD got hold of a draft report from the Commission on Higher Education.

Preliminary findings revealed a major rift within the board and, along with leadership, this is jeopardizing the college’s mission.

People for PCC is made up of concerned citizens, public office holders, students and alumni.

The group held a press conference to highlight numerous complaints in Lambert’s performance records since he took over as chancellor in 2013.

The group says students have been hammered with higher tuition and fees, while enrollment has plummeted and the Chancellor is making one-sided spending decisions that are costing taxpayers too much.
