Instructor appointed interim administrator


Greg Engle teaches two courses for the UW-Green Bay Emergency Management Certificate. Earlier this month, he was appointed Acting Administrator of the Division of Wisconsin Emergency Management (WEM), effective immediately.

Engle has served as the Director of WEM’s Planning and Preparedness Office since 2012, where he oversaw the development of state emergency response plans and the delivery of training courses and exercises to help prepare for emergency responders across the state, a critical facility for coordinating state assistance to local communities during widespread disasters. and integral to the response to COVID-19.

Wisconsin Emergency Management (WEM) builds capacity and coordinates resources to support a safe and resilient Wisconsin.

UW-Green Bay offers a Bachelor and Certificate program in Emergency Management. Both programs are designed to develop high-level skills in operational expertise, academic degrees, intervention protocols, critical analysis skills, policy and strategic planning.
