Library Lines: Portland
Every three years we meet to discuss the direction of the library and our priorities. Winter weather forced the cancellation of our session in January, so we would like to invite you back to make a difference! Attend our postponed strategic planning session at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, February 22 and tell us what matters to you. Registration required, pizza offered.
Brain teaser : What’s better when winter blows and blows than being warm and cozy and working on a puzzle? Join us for the fifth Portland District Library Puzzle Contest on Saturday, February 19. Register as a group of 2-4 puzzlers or as an individual to be placed in a group. Puzzle solving begins at 10 a.m. and continues until 2 p.m., with lunch provided. The team closest to completion when time runs out wins. Each member of the winning team receives a prize. From 10 years old, with at least one adult per team. Registration required.
