Norse Atlantic Airways appoints new Chief Financial Officer and Chief Strategy and Investment Officer

As Norse Atlantic Airways prepares to take off, the Company strengthens its management team by appointing Ben Boiling as Chief Financial Officer and James Lightbourn as Director of Strategy and Investments.

Ben Boiling served as senior vice president of finance and business for Norse and James Lightbourn as Chief Financial Officer, and both were part of the founding team of Norse.

Ben Boiling is a Chartered Accountant and has extensive experience in senior financial management gained from several Oslo-listed companies, most recently as Chief Financial Officer of ADS Maritime Holding Plc. Ben has also worked for EY and is a state-certified auditor at Norway.

James Lightbourn played a vital role in the founding of Norse through his role as Chief Investment Officer at Shiphold Management Serviced Ltd before taking on the role of CFO of Norse. James has spent his career as a financier in the transportation industry as a banker, private equity investor and asset owner.

Norse will take off in the second quarter of 2022 and will operate affordable flights between Europe and North America with a fleet of 15 modern and more environmentally friendly Boeing 787 Dreamliners.

The company was founded by CEO and major shareholder Bjørn Tore Larsen in March 2021.
