Tedial forms new expanded business development team and introduces partnership-centric approach to support M&E market transformation
Following the launch of its smartWork multimedia integration platform, Tedial continues its global expansion with a re-shaped business development team to drive business development with a partnership-centric approach.
As part of its strategy to transform and redefine the efficiency and technological approaches of media companies, Tedial is transforming the way media companies and content owners manage their media, accelerating digital transformation. For NAB 2022, Caretta Research has identified and released its Five Key Media Technology Buying Trends report, which indicates that problem solving is driving media technology spending; buyers want independent modular technology; cloud-native architecture enables better products; customers love self-service SaaS; and buyers rate both sellers and products. These trends are fully in line with Tedial’s philosophy, and the company’s approach to meeting current market needs fits into its next-generation NoCode cloud-native media integration platform strategy.

This new approach began in the summer of 2021, with the promotion of Manuel Martínez to the position of Business Development Manager. The move aligns the company’s sales, marketing and partnership areas with Tedial’s new strategy, driven by the move to a next-generation media integration platform. Nick Gold, who was engaged by Tedial to provide business development services in the US and Canadian markets. Gold is a media industry professional with 15 years of experience at CHESA, a US-based systems integrator, where he served as Chief Revenue Officer and Senior Technologist. He is an active participant in many industry associations including SMPTE and AMIA (The Association of Moving Image Archivists) where he has chaired the Digital Asset Symposium (DAS) conference since 2017. Gold is the author of numerous published media articles. supply chain technologies and system architecture.
Alexander Jasinski, who will provide business development services in the European market (excluding UK and Iberian Peninsula). Jasinski is a media industry professional with 22 years of experience in international companies as well as start-ups including Adtoox, Group IMD, and most recently at Vidispine, an Arvato Systems brand.
John Perkins, an independent Optech Media consultant, has also been engaged by Tedial to provide business development services in the UK market. Perkins is a media industry professional with 22 years of experience at UK broadcaster ITV and major broadcast service providers including Technicolor, Ericsson and Red Bee Media.
Gold, Jasinski and Perkins will follow the commercial strategy defined by José Luis Montero, who has been promoted to director of sales. Montero joined Tedial in 2017 as Regional Sales Manager, LATAM. His proven track record in strategic planning and client development and management led to the rapid expansion of his regional responsibilities to include the Middle East and then the Iberian Peninsula. Montero will lead the worldwide sales organization in addition to his current responsibilities.
Tedial’s new business development team will be responsible for promoting the entire Tedial portfolio. With a partnership-centric approach, the team will also work closely with key partners who will serve as an extension to Tedial’s business development team and provide the highest level of service and support locally.
