You must beware! Fraud Alert – India Post does not hold any sweepstakes | Here’s what you need to know

GDP Fact Check tweeted about a fraud alert! GDP Fact Check on its Twitter account alerted, “A #fake website ‘http://goodnessanonymous.website/indiapost/tb.php?_t=1649334273164933469…’ posing as @IndiaPostOffice is holding a raffle and offers a chance to win ₹20,000.”

GDP Fact Check clarified that the website is not associated with India Post.

India Post Office also tweeted about the fraudulent activity.

“A fake website ‘http://goodnessanonymous.website/indiapost/tb.php?_t=1649334273164933469…’ claims to be organizing the India Post 170th Anniversary Raffle. India Post/Department of Posts did not nothing to do with such a scam Beware of such fraudulent activities,” tweeted India Post @IndiaPostOffice.

“Neither the website nor the organization is associated with India Post. Beware of these fake organizations and webpages,” India Post @IndiaPostOffice tweeted in another post.
